Since joining Matica Bio in 2021, Kevin has held roles of increasing responsibility, and now serves as the Vice President of Business Development, and brings a proven track record of launching innovative tools and services to the cell and gene therapy industry. Kevin has been primarily focused on commercial roles within the bioprocess industry since 2010, and exclusively on cell and gene therapy related roles since 2015. Prior to joining Matica Bio, Kevin was the Associate Sales Director within Merck KGaA’s (MilliporeSigma) Cell Therapy unit. As the Global Sales Director for FloDesign Sonics, Kevin helped launch a novel cell therapy processing platform which was later acquired by Merck KGaA’s MilliporeSigma business unit in 2019. Kevin has also held field marketing roles, as a founding member of Sartorius Stedim’s Regenerative Medicine business unit, responsible for launching tools and services to support the process development and cGMP manufacture of cell and gene based therapeutics. Kevin was also part of the US-based commercial sales team which brought the ambr15 and ambr250 platforms to becoming the gold standard of scale down process development tools at TAP Biosystems.

Kevin has a Bachelor’s of Applied Sciences degree in Biomedical Engineering and Electrical Engineering from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver Canada, and currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
