Business Strategy Expert
Heather N. Sugrue joined Matica Biotechnology in 2023 as the Vice President of Business Development. Heather is an accomplished sales and marketing executive with over 25 years experience in the drug development and biomanufacturing industry. Prior to Matica Heather built and led business development teams for domestic and international leading CDMOs including Catalent and Thermo Fisher (Patheon). Her leadership experience spans all phases of the development process from early R&D through commercial manufacturing. She is also recognized for partnering with her internal colleagues, developing top-down and cross-departmental communication pathways bringing a single line of site to organization goals for success. Heather has both a BS in Chemistry from Ithaca College, and an MS in Chemistry from Boston University.
