We are seeking a Korean speaking professional to join the team in an exciting, high-impact blended role where they will serve as Director of General Affairs and liaison to our Korean shareholders. We are looking for a GA leader with a track record in collaborative and solutions-oriented business practices; experience in strategic communications field, including event planning or execution virtual and in-person. This position will work closely with CEO, CoS, Finance and HR, and other executives, to support company general affairs, internal/external communications, and strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES
General operation and administration of the company (34%)

Including but not limited to compliance, legal, risk management, immigration, office supply purchasing, general vendor management, safety/security in collaboration with Finance and HR

Help organize and host corporate events
Internal/External Affairs (33%)

Plan and support Board Meetings and Shareholder Meetings

Prepare board/shareholder presentations; Prepares internal and external correspondence on behalf of CEO

Coordinate communications between existing shareholders.
Corporate strategy (33%)
-
Work closely with executives to develop the framework of mid/long term corporate strategy; coordinate execution of the tactical aspect in collaboration with rest of the company unit/department/function

Support executives in delivering board/shareholder mandates.
QUALIFICATIONS

Able to fluently communicate in Korean
-
5+ experience in internal/external communications (can be in the U.S. or worldwide, preferably with KR companies)

Able to travel locally/internationally (expected travel: 10-20%)

Held significant positions in Finance, HR, Legal, or Communications, or was responsible for similar work scope closely with boards and C-suite.

Working knowledge of corporate finances, HR, and relevant laws and regulations

Understanding of biotech/pharma/biomanufacturing industry is a plus

Experience in strategic communication field, including event planning or execution, is a plus

Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including PPT presentation as well as computer literacy in MS Outlook, Word and Excel.

Ability to operate in high pressure environment at times; be resourceful

Ability to manage multiple layers of internal/external stakeholders; collaborator and bridge-builder
